about us
Pass The Plate is a 501c3 Non-profit started by a Georgia State University student, Kiara LaGuerre-Latney, who wanted to fight against the Poverty in her community and around campus. Pass The Plate came into existence on November 21, 2018, in the heart of Downtown Atlanta providing over 100 meals. Since our first event, Pass The Plate has distributed more than 5 times as many meals as well as donating over 100 hats & gloves, 50 packs of wipes and toiletry items to those in need. But the work does not stop there! Kiara strives to help others and build the community that once invested into her when she became homeless after high school. Now, Kiara feels it is time to give that back in ten folds with goals of expanding to other major cities, small neighborhoods, and the areas that needs support and resources.

We strive to help single parents, students, and the homeless population. It is important for us to support this population by providing resources, skills, and opportunities to reach success at any phase of life. In return train the next generation to create wealth and continue success.
